A designed garden landscape at first light — mown lawn, layered perennial borders and clipped boxwood along a curving stone path to a terrace

Everglade Garden Studio

Gardens, composed with care.

A horticultural studio designing, planting and tending gardens of lasting beauty — from first sketch to every season after.

Our philosophy

We treat every garden as a composition.

A garden is never finished — it is tended, edited and gently guided toward the picture it wants to become. We begin with the land itself: its light, its soil, the way water moves through it after rain.

From there we compose in layers — structure first, then texture, then the quiet details that reward a second look. The result is a garden that feels inevitable, and grows more beautiful with every season.

The hands behind the garden

Gardens are made by hand.

Behind every Everglade garden is a small team of working gardeners — people who kneel in the borders, sharpen their shears and come to know each plant by name. We believe a garden is only ever as good as the hands that tend it.

The gardeners who plant your garden are the ones who return to care for it — pruning, feeding and quietly editing as it matures. That continuity is our craft, and it is how a garden keeps its character for decades.

Kind words

From the gardens we keep.

Everglade transformed our narrow courtyard into the room we live in most. Every visit since has felt like the garden is still being quietly perfected.

Margaret Ellison

Charleston, SC · Garden Design

Three seasons in, the maintenance team knows our garden better than we do. It has never looked healthier — or more itself.

James & Priya Raghavan

Greenwich, CT · Garden Maintenance

Their topiary work is extraordinary — twenty-year-old boxwood reshaped with a surgeon's patience and an artist's eye.
